Virginia Brown

About Virginia

Virginia is an experienced and skilled business coach who has spent more than 20 years in and around organisations.  Her background, covering a broad range of sectors, gives her a real understanding of how organisations work; the challenges, the tensions, the rewards.  This enables Virginia to work quickly and effectively with her clients to ensure that they are able to perform to their best and generate high quality thinking and results for themselves and their organisations.

Approach

Virginia works with her clients to help them generate clarity and focus so that they are really clear on what it is that they need to do to succeed.  She works to create a coaching environment in which individuals are supported and challenged, can have difficult and transparent conversations outside of their everyday system, move their thinking and awareness on, solicit and listen to feedback, and ultimately focus on those elements that will most facilitate the achievement of outstanding results.

Qualifications

Virginia holds an MSc in Organizational Behaviour, a BA (Hons) in Politics and English, and a Diploma in Marketing.  She is a qualified user of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Occupational Personality Questionnaire and spent 7 years on the Faculty of The School of Coaching, where she delivered both open and bespoke Coaching Skills Training Programmes certificated by the University of Strathclyde.

Industry experience

Virginia has worked with a wide variety of client organisations including EdF Energy, O2, Training & Development Agency (TDA), M&G Investments, Transport for London, Royal Bank of Scotland, BT, SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Families Association), National Grid,Newspaper Marketing Agency, Department for Children, Schools & Family.
