Charles Brook

Charles Brook is one of Europe’s leading Business Coaches working with Chief Executives and Senior Managers to develop their leadership style in order to deliver their performance goals and personal targets.  Charles has a depth of experience working with Chief Executives, Board Members and Senior Executives from a broad range of public and private sector organisations including The NHS Leadership Centre, Department of Education, Jaguar and Land Rover, EDF Energy, BBC, Asda, Johnson & Johnson, WH Smith, London Stock Exchange, Lloyds TSB, Random House Group, South West Trains, The Kings Fund, Penguin Group and uSwitch Ltd.

Charles has a passion for enabling leaders to develop their unique and most impactful leadership style; for helping people be more creative with their thinking; and to deliver on tough business issues that create breakthrough in performance. 

The founding director of The Performance Coach, he has co-developed the highly successful and now well established, MSc in Coaching and Development with Portsmouth University Business School, attended by senior people across the public and private sectors.  For the last three years he has worked on a voluntary basis with WYSE; a not for profit organisation sponsored by the United Nations, to develop young leaders across the world.

Charles has been a faculty member of the School of Coaching for the last eight years and has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing and maintaining quality standards on their programmes.  He was a founding board member of The European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and Chair of the Membership & Marketing Committee, whose aim is to promote standards and ethics in coaching.
